I just read a really nice review of my short story Grounders, which was podcast on the excellent podcast site www.variantfrequencies.com. I have been writing novels for the last twelve years or so, mostly thrillers and crime fiction, but when I was kid, I mostly wrote science fiction, and only short stories. So I was a little nervous when I wrote the story and even more so when I sent it out. I was delighted when Seth Harwood forwarded it to Rick Stringer at Variant Frequencies, and even more delighted when rick agreed to produce it. I was very happy with the way the story came out, and Thomas "cmdln" Gideon's reading of it.
